Planning a change of direction in your career working in a Care Home to become a Paramedic.

During the Covid Pandemic lots of Care Workers became disillusioned with their roles in Nursing and Care Homes and left the industry to pursue other careers. Watching helplessly as their beloved residents succumbed to the deadly virus was too much to bear for a lot of Carers and they looked to other professions in which they could still help others and really make a difference.  The very long hours, shift rotas and low pay also contributed to the increase of professional Care Workers leaving this very demanding industry.
