Mystery shoppers visit a shop and evaluate how the staff treat them. The mystery shopper pretends to be an ordinary shopper who is visiting the store with the intention of buying something. The mystery shopper may be employed by the retailer or an outside company. They are responsible for evaluating the performance of the employees and submitting reports. A mystery customer may be asked to secretly record their exchange using a body worn camera.
