Choosing a Dishwasher – Is it Better to Have Fully Integrated or Semi Integrated?

We are fortunate in the modern world to have plenty of machines that make jobs easier for us! One of these is the dishwasher, and once you have had a dishwasher and realised how easy they make cleaning up after a meal, you will not want to go back to having to do the washing up!

If the time has come for you to replace an old dishwasher that is no longer working, then you will want to get the one that is right for you. With so many models and types on the market, it can be hard to know what is best suited for your needs.

Something that can save space in a kitchen is having integrated appliances. Both a semi integrated dishwasher like this https://www.wellingtonshomeelectrical.co.uk/dishwashers/fullsize-dishwashers/semi-integrated.html and a fully integrated dishwasher can help to save space in the kitchen, as it fits in perfectly not leaving any gaps.

The main difference between a dishwasher that is fully integrated and one that is semi integrated is the fact that a fully integrated dishwasher will be completely hidden by a cabinet. With a dishwasher that is semi integrated, it will fit into the kitchen cabinets still saving space, but the front of it and the controls will all be visible and it is not hidden.

Deciding between the two is very much a personal choice. If you like a kitchen where you can hide all of the appliances away then go for fully integrated, but if you want to easily see your way around all of the appliances, then semi integrated is best.
